About Me

As someone who has faced personal challenges, I have found a passion in helping others to find a path through. I believe in building upon an individual's strengths to address barriers while incorporating healthy coping techniques to improve overall wellness. I am willing to work with those who fall into any "category" along the spectrum of mental health who share a common goal to live their best life. We will work together to keep the good and strengthen the not-so-good to progress on your self-defined goals. I invite you to reach out via email (preferable) or phone call/text to see how we can get started together. I am a graduate of Rutgers Social of Social Work, where I specialized in Addiction Counselor Training, and studied Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Since completing my Masters degree, I have participated in advanced studies in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solutions Focused-Based Therapy, as well as working with specific populations (seniors, trauma, LGBTQ+ to name a few).

Testimonials

“When I began therapy, I had trouble finding someone who I connected with to discuss my life’s situations. I highly recommend Christina for anyone, especially those who have had a difficult time finding a therapist that they are comfortable with.”

Former Client

“Christina was so kind and understanding. While it was my first time reaching out for my mental health, she was always willing to listen and asked the right questions to drive the conversation deeper. ”

Former Client

“I appreciate that Christina listens well. I appreciate that she’s teaching me/suggesting coping skills so once I discover and can acknowledge a problem, it doesn’t just stay that way. I’m learning to work it through and become a better, thriving person.”
